The group is going to set up its first gas based power generation plant of 1500 MW Multi-fuel power plant in the state in the vicinity Bangalore city near Malur .

The enormous project would be executed with the participation of member companies, venture capital firms, mutual fund companies, foreign direct investment, foreign collaborators, foreign equity holders, institutional investors, private investors, pension funds, hedge funds, and with the long term external commercial borrowing.
